Three things to know about the Volvo C40 Recharge

The new Volvo C40 Recharge unveiled earlier this month is the first all-electric Volvo vehicle designed from the start as an EV.

“The C40 Recharge represents the future of Volvo and shows where we are going,” said Henrik Green, chief technology officer. “It is fully electric, offered online only with a convenient care package and will be available for quick delivery. Getting a new Volvo was never this attractive.”

Essentially a coupe version of the current and popular XC40 Recharge, the C40 Recharge is the first in a long line of upcoming Volvo electric vehicles.

Here are three things to know about the new C40 Recharge.

It will have a lot of range

Powered by a 78-kWh battery, the C40 Recharge will offer an estimated 420 kilometres of range. It will be quick to charge as well, with 80% of the range available after 40 minutes.

It will have a state-of-the-art infotainment system

Its infotainment system is designed by Google and features an Android operating system. This system will offer over-the-air updates and many apps found on Android phones including Google Maps.

It has you covered after your purchase

C40 Recharge buyers will receive a convenient care package that includes service, warranty, roadside assistance, insurance, and home charging options.
