The XC90 represents Volvo’s flagship vehicle and largest SUV. It was developed using Volvo’s known Scalable Product Architecture that builds on a modular platform and ensures consistency and quality among the model line. Three trims represent the XC90, including Momentum, R-Design, and Inscription.
The exterior styling of the XC90 carries many common traits with Volvo's design heritage. These mix with features that provide the 2020 model line with new styling and functionality. The Momentum includes 19-inch five-spoke black alloy wheels and a high-gloss black Momentum grille with chrome frame.
The R-Design upgrades to 20-inch wheels and high-gloss black roof rails and door mirrors. You will find 20-inch, 10-spoke silver diamond-cut alloy wheels and matt silver grille with chrome frame on the Inscription, the XC90's highest trim level.
Turbocharged and Hybrid Power for Performance in the 2020 Volvo XC90
Multiple levels of performance power the XC90's trims, including all gas and hybrid systems. The gasoline options include the T5 AWD with 250 hp and the robust T6 AWD with 310 hp.
The T8 Twin Engine combines the high performance of a gasoline engine and electric motor to produce maximum power with more efficiency. The system can reach 400 hp, which makes the XC90 one of the most efficient and powerful SUVs in its class. All XC90s feature an 8-speed automatic transmission and state of the art all-wheel-drive system.

All trims include a large selection of interior amenities. The Momentum features leather upholstery, Iron Ore aluminium decor inlays, a 12-inch driver display, and a premium audio system. The racing-inspired R-Design has Metal Mesh aluminium inlays, R-Design leather steering wheel and pedals, R-Design Fine Nappa leather/nubuck textile upholstery, power-operated front seats, and more. The Inscription adds fine Nappa leather upholstery and black ash wood decor inlays.
