Volvo becomes first automaker to receive IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus for entire lineup

The entire Volvo new vehicle lineup has received the coveted Top Safety Pick Plus award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), becoming in the process the first automaker to receive the coveted award for its lineup.


To earn a Top Safety Pick Plus award, an automaker must pass every single IIHS crash test with the highest possible grade. It must also receive the highest grades in headlight and driver assistance technology evaluation. It other words, on the best and safest vehicles receive the awards.
